probably $500-$1000 of 2x4's and the plywood cost around $10-16 a sheet, depending on thickness.... like $100 of screws and depends if you want coping or not
plus suport beams and what not
i really doubt you could get it that cheap, my 5ft flatbank cost me Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?£120($240) i do live in england mind you, but i still really doubt you could get josh's set up for $500

i didn't say he could get it for $500.... i said at least $500-$1000 for just the 2x4s alone.... plus adding the cost of the plywood which is like $10-20 depending on the thickness and the thousands of screws he'll need for the project.

So your going to try to build that set-up? If you do that'd be sick. You could easily make that 16' wide, its 20' now. I'm sure you could get it down to 30' long if you cut some decks off. It'd cost a lot though, since you have that elevated part. The quarter and ban set-up could be switched around, so if you normally go to your right you wouldn't have to go opposite.

Yeah Erik that newest idea is best. Not cramped, and with really everything you would need except maybe a rail or hubba, but thats not as cool as a spine and a flybox.

I like the new idea you have Erik. What are the sizes of the ramps though? I would go at least 5' tall, this way it isn't gay for airouts. I would also say make that spine a little steeper. It looks like you could land flat off that. Really nice stuff though, its real nice to see somebody can use sketchup good.

I got myself banned.
to be honest i think with just a mini and spine you'd get bored.

since it's 16 x 30

make 8 feet of it the mini and spine and the other 8 like a quarter and flat bank thing

i have it set out in my mind but i honestly suck at explaining it and i can't draw for shit

yeah the quarters are 5 feet tall

i dont really grind that much, but i might put a walltap or sub box on one of the 5 foot quarters

and chris i kinda get what your saying but trust me whenever i go to og all i really ride is the mini spine/box run, and the monstrous boxes for the bikers which i cant build. but dont worry im not gonna get bored with this, and in the event that i do i can just work on flow or like putting all my tricks together into a run or something

I would do something more like this. The spine would be more "boostable", and you wouldn't land in flat. I added a wall tap thing and I colored it to ply wood so it might look like the outcome of yours. The box looks shorter and the spine is taller.

oh and can you send that to me as a downloadable sketchup file or whatever like you did with "the project" so i can scope all the dimensions and shit, like flat bottom, curve, height, all that good stuff

I didn't save that unfortunately. From that picture I should be able to re-create that though. I'll send it to you deff. It is 16 x 30, except for the decks. I basically just tried to do your second design with a bigger spine.

There it is. I didn't bother putting in the railings or coloring it. This one is a bit different, because I had to redo it. I went off what I though I had on the last one.

is that even possible
how much would that cost?

but im literally getting this in my backyard. i have all the wood bought, but i just couldnt decide on a design, but here it is. were building 8 foot wide spines and a 8 foot wide box so i can switch em out. and dont tell me to change it cause this is exactly what i want, its going to be so gnar

just to give you perspective that quarter is 5 feet tall

andy wont like it cause theres no place to flyout :p

these look sick erik, although tbh i think i would get bored of two spines, maybe have one flyout and one spine, that way you could kinda practise things on flyout first too, heres an edit i did to show
