Ha, haven't seen those kind of forks before with the arrow pointing forward stamped on them. I have seen the brakes that say "STOP!"... are those blades?

woaahhhh doood you scoot looks all most just like mine. well just in parts. i have the same deck with one back peg. hade a baring peg buty now im runnin the new RAD pegs and they kick aassss

i know by know im whoring this thread sorry but ive decided to use dads $$346546436 camera so i have better pics from now on ill be using this camera i love it 6 megapixel = the sex. so here goes...

Thanks.

All headsets with sealed cartridge own and you won't have to worry about the bearings and cages to crack.
I haven't tried Solid Bikes' headset with chromoly 4130 cups with tappered needle bearings.
Anyway, i don't see any point of buying a new headset with unsealed bearings if you want a solid and durable headset.

I'm guessing that you're using the same as I?

Me too! Me too! Madis , want to try out something damn good I did? Lol. I modified my FSA pig unsealed headset like you modding yours in a different way.

My mate says that the thing which breaks in a headset is the balls. I now ride stronger headset balls , faster , lighter and all. Light weight does not really matter on those few pieces of balls.

Im using a FSA pig unsealed with ceramic balls. Top and bottom cup fully equiped with silicon nitride ceramic balls. I can sell you some if you want by the way. I can get it at most sizes so if you are using a different headset with different ball size , I can get what size you need.

I won't spend money to buy a cheap loose unsealed fsa pig so i could rip it up apart and replace the bearings with some ceramic balls only, since i already have a decent headset with sealed cartridge worth more while having 40 times less problems getting them off and maintain them totally oil-free and clean job when modding a fork for example.

Why should i get a loose unsealed headset with ceramic balls when i already have a good solid sealed one?

Btw, like i've seen on easter's scoot, then it's not the balls which crack, it's the cage where are the balls in, cages get snapped and bent in the cups when you smack your scooter.

ya i love it. u kno any ways to make it better though.. like when u rgease ytours do u tak the red thing covering the bearings off?
and put it in there? or just the cups?

that scoot is nice ebsides the fact that it is an a, and the rbake is off. but i do that for my street scoots that i ride in the rain and shit. a's are easy to get solid and with the break off its super duper...duper solid

Probably its the cage which spoils. I don't know. Ceramic balls are meant for their strength and speed. IF it is the cage which breaks , the ceramic strength won't be really needed but its much smoother now.
