Really depends how its done, I think. If you speed hole-d the shit out of it, you could probably remove a lot of weight, but it'd still be on the heavier side of things.

My mgp deck is 8.5lbs on its own and i don't find it heavy in the slightest, scooters just cant be heavy.

i would like to see a picture of your 8 pound deck on the scale. None of you pussys could ride an 8 pound deck, nobody would want to ride an 8 pound deck because its fucking stupid and aluminum is better for decks. My whole entire scooter weighs 8.7lbs.
