why is it not a good idea? seems like a perfectly good idea to me if you want to upgrade from a threaded compression system but dont have enough money to buy a threadless fork yet. atleast it sure was for me...

theyre actually chinese shit made out of like 10 alloys, but yes. its a steel mixture that rapes scs. i guess that guy just found a way to get scs earlier than his fork, so whatever. but its dumb as shit either way.

impossible because i got an scs that someone rode on threaded forks and its been on threadless forks for like a year and it still has marks from the threads.

well i only ran mine for a few months but there wasnt a mark in it.
