my setup as of now you probobly cant notice but i have a new 35mm SLR my canon ae-1s mirrors are kind of lagging lately and i picked this up a garage sale also i have a 2x teleconverter for it so its a pretty decent zoom which im happy about
soon im going to mod my cactus transmitter with a antenna and im getting 3 more cactus receivers because i also have 2 other back up flashes that i didnt show in the picture that i might use sometimes, also im going ot mod all of my receivers to make a battery pack mod
im ordering a bronica sq-a in like 2 days 2 lenses, 120 back, 220 back, body, and 7 rolls of film for $300! :D im so excited
im going to stop using my 1d once my 30d comes back in the mail from getting its LCD fixed because my 1d always shuts down randomly so I might sell it and use the money to get pocketwizards later on

hey dylan, don't do the battery pack mod, because i did it with my old cactus slaves, and it made them not work on a tripod, and i had to spend about $30 more on each flash to connect it to a tripod.

did you sell your 580EX and your ST-E2?

oh and what do you mean it shuts down randomly? i might want to buy the 1d from you if its not that bad

oh and are they 285hv or just 285? cause if they aren't hv, you probably fried your cameras hotshoe

i dont really understand why it wouldnt allow it on a tripod i would just use rubber bands and have the batteries on the side
i did sell my st-e2 and 580ex, well i traded my st-e2 for cactuses one vivitar 285hv, and $45 a pretty fair trade
you just have to be gentle with the 1d because i dropped it like straight onto a boulder so any like bumps or anything and it turns off
also with no warning it will just turn off even with a fully charged battery
but usually you can turn the switch to off and wait for a couple seconds and turn it back on and it will work fine if that doesnt work you either switch out batteries or just take out the battery and put it back in and thats a sure thing it will work
but yesterday i found out that i have insurance on it so i can send it in to get fixed the thing is it wont be activated for like 45 days or something like that so i cant send it in for a couple months which sucks
but honestly dude theres perfect 1ds going for just the same price that are in so much better condition
and the whole 1d hype is over rated at least with the first 1ds seriously the only thing they are actually better than like a rebel is the burst rate im not too worried about camera bodies anymore the lenses and flashes are what makes a picture good for me now so im not bummed when im gonna start using my 30d again

ebay slaves suck, they miss fire a lot but not has much has those 200 dollar canon transmitter things.

Once i get my flash set up complete i'm definitely going to get pw's
