got a new bag, wanted a backpck w/e.
so d40,sony trv 250, kenko, and bag. once i get my laptop i will be looking into a 3 chipper and probablly a flash for my d40

its my protection, it was $120 and the locking mechanism supports over 400 pounds of pressure. and i basically carry a knife everywhere except for school.

HAH. What a waste of $120. I pay $72 a year (actually mommy does :)) or something like that to insure my camera and whatever accessories i buy for up to $3000. Its covered for everything i can think of... theft, accident (drops, lens hits!), malfunction (when the warranty is up), ect. If i was in a situation where i had to fight for my setup, theres no way im getting a knife out in time. If that shits happening, your not gonna know about it, and most likely your gonna be knocked out before you get a grip on your cam.

yyour right, it was a christmas present and im in boy scouts so its always nice to have a knife for stuff like that and im a sound technician for my church and i have to use it almost every day there to cut cables, tape, or as a screwdriver to work on electronics.
<3 the knife anyways

no, get the digital one or it won't work, trust me, i've had first hand experience with that same flash.

and Brian, are you going to get a dead cat windscreen for the RODE?

and i thought it will fit on the mic mount that screws onto the side of the handle, will it?

I got myself banned.
Nah i don't need the windsock thing. And nah it won't fit in that mount, it has a shock absorption system thing that screws into the coldshoe.

Get the cactus V2's there cheap and work flawlessly, all they do is slide onto your flash and you have a wireless flash. Easy as that.

Erik, your other thread is locked so i cant tell u in their.

But why did you buy optical slaves? Radio (ebay) slave are way better because now to trigger you flash mounted on that lil box thing, you have to fire your pop-up flash or flash on your camera, which will just overide your lighting. And then the slave flash firing wont do much to the photo coz everything is already bright.
