nope the ae-1 has a fd mount and none of your lenses will fit
if you just get the 50mm 1.8 with it you wont really need anymore lenses that lense is so sharp
and erik im trying to sell my ae-1 with a 50mm, and telephoto are you interested?

don't pay that much. buy used. i got my pentax for free from a friend, and there are always real good deals on craigslist for old 35mm's.

$100, and you can put your cactus system on it and use all of the flashes you use with your digital camera the 2 lenses are a 50mm f1.8 and a 70-200mm f 5.6 its in really god condition the batterys fresh and everything i just have like 5 of the same type of 35mm slrs and im trying to get rid of some
youve probobly seen photos from it in my thread if you get a low speed of film the pictures are pretty sharp and crisp

thats the reason you cant afford stuff your about to waste all your money on a flash ridiculously overpriced and the only thing good in it is it has a good auto sensor and i hope you wont be using it on auto mode? thats the deal with all the name brand flashes theyre worthless for the extra money if your just shooting manual

you need to set them to a certain channel. it confused me too :?

on the inside of the reciever theres two switches, set them to 1 and 2. then on the bottom of the transmitter set the switches to 1 and 2. then your good thats channel 1 i think. theres diff combintions for all four channels i guess. i just use 1. but then again i havent even had them for a day lol
