wow hahah im pretty sure anyone would just buy a brand new ICS and clamp for an SCS and still save like 30-40 bucks

You might want to make the slit a bit longer, and as for the starnut, as long as it's not touching the top of the forktube you're good. If it is, just take the ICS bolt and screw it into the starnut (without your fork or deck on) and just hammer it in a little further.

no one rides them because they aren't as strong. I mean obviously if you're not someone who rides alot then a pro model would be enough, but 1 piece decks are so much better. I used to have a pro model like 2 months ago, but there was already noticeable cracks in the dropouts in like 2 weeks...
