I don't believe in what Adam said, and I can safely say that he wasn't causing a commotion.
What's the real reason he can't continue posting his threads about Nibiru? Because it's a belief not shared by everyone? Breaking news dudes, I don't believe Buddha is a real God, but I don't go around shunning everyone who believes in it. In fact, I respect that someone has found something to become passionate about, to dedicate their being to.
I'm not a religious person by any stretch of the imagination, no sir, but I can appreciate other people's faith. Adam is someone who is a devout believer in Aliens, paranormal, astrology, astronomy. Why take that away from him?
Now, let me point a few things out to you guys.
1. Respect EVERYONE.
Rob constantly told Adam he was stupid for believing in something.
That's hardly respectful. In fact, that's incredibly close-minded. If you disagree with someone, state your facts, but don't disrespect someone else's opinion. Critical thinking entails you considering, and respecting other's positions.
3. Never tell people they suck or that you are better then them, rather, give them advice to help them improve.
Again. Everyone, in every thread has been telling Adam he's stupid for his belief. Seriously, you guys are ridiculous. You DON'T know the rules.
5. Do not make stupid posts or spam existing posts.
Rob kept bringing this one up.
What constitutes a stupid post? Posting something that you believe in? If so, you should probably delete EVERYTHING from the forum, as everyone posts their own opinion.
12. Post new topics in their respective categories.
All of Adam / Luke / Billie's topics were in DISCUSS ANYTHING.
Now, lets check out the description of 'discuss anything'
Discuss Anything
Talk about anything and everything here.
Wow. That's odd, anything and everything? I don't see a clause saying "Anything and everything, minus religious beliefs, apocalyptic theories and the existence of aliens"
Adam broke a couple of rules, sure. But they were no more than what every little kid does on here every day.
He started these topics as a means of open discussion, and people came in and disrespected him first.
Do you walk around your local area killing evangelists for promoting their religion in a public place? I didn't think so.
