how do you make one? what parts do you need?
to make a gt with a welder, you need:
-welder
-hammer
-hacksaw
-sandpaper
-drill (with 5/16" bit)
-file/grinder
-paint
-bolt/threaded rod and a bunch of spacers (washers) for front ski (5/16" size), or you can use a pipe and weld it/bolt it into the bottom of the bmx fork
-1 or 2 locking nuts for bolt/threaded rod respectively, and 2 locking washers
-gt
-bmx bike/kids bike
to make it, you need to:
-hammer off all the stock headtube crap on the gt and take off the brakes
-cut bike frame so it fits on top of/in between gt frame
-sand off all the original paint near the area being welded
-weld it in place
-cut bmx fork so that there is like half an inch of space between the bottom of it and the ground.
-measure and drill holes in it for the front ski
-put on front ski using spacers and whatever and bolt it.
-paint the whole thing to prevent rusting
to make one with bolts, you need:
-1/4" bolts (the width of the gt frame with the bike frame wedged inside of it) (x2)
-1/4" washers (2-4 normal ones per bolt, and 2 locking ones per bolt)
-1/4" locking nut (x2)
-bolt/threaded rod and a bunch of spacers (washers) for front ski (5/16" size), or you can use a pipe and weld it/bolt it into the bottom of the bmx fork
-1 or 2 locking nuts for bolt/threaded rod respectively, and 2 locking washers
-hammer
-hacksaw
-drill (with 1/4" bit and 5/16" bit)
-file/grinder
-gt
-bmx bike/kids bike
to make it, you need to:
-hammer off all the stock headtube crap on the gt and take off the brakes
-cut bike frame so it fits in between gt frame
-drill holes for the bike frame in the gt frame (without the bike frame in place yet) and make sure the 1/4" bolts can go all the way through)
-put the bike frame in the gt
-drill through the bike frame using the holes in the gt frame as a guide
-bolt the bike frame to the gt frame
-cut bmx fork so that there is like half an inch of space between the bottom of it and the ground.
-measure and drill holes in it for the front ski
-put on front ski using spacers and whatever and bolt it.
-paint the whole thing to prevent rusting (optional, because if you bolt it, there's gonna be the original paint from the bike and gt still on it)

I might be missing a few things from this, but whatever. I'm extremely bored right now, so this wall of text is basically me trying to deal with my boredom right now..
