dude, u d prolly be able to use bike spokes. and they cost 40 cents per spoke if that. and you wont need as many spokes. ive drawn it on inventor but last time my computer crashed, it erased all my files.
ill try to draw it again tho
but it shouldnt be too expensive

edit, damnit nevermind the drawing thing

Hello Guys,
I came across this thread today and as it turns out we have been working on this very concept for over a year now. We have gone through several prototypes and are just waiting for production tooling to be finished and patents to be issued. I think you guys are really going to like the product and will be extremely surprised about the cost. We have made the wheels very strong and very simple to change the "tire". The costs will be much lower than you guys have thrown here in this thread but we don't know exactly yet so I am not going to publish any pricing yet. As you guys have mentioned, the color and style combos are infinite. Stay tuned over the next couple of months, as we get the web site up - we will be posting pictures.

vertex i will love you forever if you do this... its a great idea and as long as you make it amazing then other companies will be trying to keep up with your sales

The good news is that it is not a matter of IF we do it, it's a matter of how quickly it happens. Hopefully all the pieces come together quickly and it's in your hands early this summer.

Its called beadlock.
And its not gonna work,
you could have ghost pin, the urethane wouldn't be strong enouh.
Its stupid.

ive always wanted to try to make scooter wheels very similar to bike wheels. like weave the spokes in them and be able to true it, and it could be really light. who knows
That wouldn't probably work, spokes aren't enough strong to hold impact of whips. If somebody is going to say "Spokes hang on great on bikes" think about it. Whips spin alot faster on scooter=Alot harder impact.

What are you talking about? It doesn't matter what your doing, it's just the impact.
