Personally not a fan of over dramatic HDR's like the one above. But a nice natural HDR at that location could work. Although try a couple without HDR :)

Went out and bought myself a new tripod. Was at the store and was looking at the $30 one and the $60 one. Just said fuck it and bought the $60 dollar one.

This things a Piece of shit. The beam that connects to the middle is super glued together and was VERY sketchy. Also rusted together from beach shots

I would stick with the HDR. Please tell me you are doing the HDR correctly and not making the rookie mistake of using an HDR toning tool.

Thanks,
And I'm not sure what you mean? I just go to HDR in cs6 and do it how I want. I literally just started doing them..
Probably wrong I'm assuming

I think he means actually bracketing your shots and merging them together instead of just using 1 image and making a HDR out of that.

There isn't any way to do HDR other than bracketing...
That's like saying using instagram is using real filters.

It's not technically HDR but you can use one image and create two or three copies of the image, one adjusted for the highlights and one adjusted for the shadows and one adjusted for the mid tones and merge them all together.

The outcome looks horrendous but you are able to bring out some more detail than there would have been with the single image.

get Photomatix and start bracketing. It will look alot cleaner and once you figure out the tone mapping your HDR's will improve alot. Doing HDR but bracketing will also make the light much better when it is harsh or uneven.

Whatttt just did a 7 minute one at 100 ISO f/13 it was perfectly lit. It's awesome compared to my nd4 20 second exposure at f/28 hahaha

16 stop? It couldn't be. ND16 is totally different to 16 stops. ND16 reduces the light by 4 stops. I can nderstand your confusion though.

I am not confused. (1) 10 stop filter and (1) 6 stop filter screwed onto that. AKA, 16 stop filter

and Ryan, is that the 50mm 1.4 or the plastic fantastic?
