The "Good Idea" Thread

I don't know what you guys could be talking about, but an integrated deck has headset cups that are INTEGRATED into the deck. Putting some sort of "headset converter" into a standard deck would just mean putting headset cups in.

intergrated decks mean that they headset cups that are built into the deck, so its impossible to make a normal deck intergrated right?

think of crows, phoenix bars etc. but the triangle goes out to the end of the bars but instead of have a complete cross bar at the top you would have a cut so to T tube never meets the cross bar ( so installation of grips is possible) looking like those racing bike bars like that guy with the big testicle rides..

A completely forged deck, so pretty much an actual one piece deck. Or a deck with the head tube CNC'ed as well so its all one piece unlike lucky decks.

Yes! I have wondered why companies have never tried this, or maybe they have....Anyways great idea, that would make the deck so strong

I don't think you guys realize how insanely expensive that deck would be to produce.... CNC'ing is already way more expensive than extruding, and this deck you guys are imagining wouldn't be much more solid.

Basically, a fully CNC deck would be like $2000, and a forged deck is a terrible idea. There really is nothing wrong with the standard bolt system for Lucky style decks.

If you aren't a wuss about the weight, and had the money to pay for it, a completely forged deck would pretty much defeat the need to EVER get another deck. :)
