What Do You Like To See In An (Extruded) Deck?

BEADY!
pretty much take a v2-i into consideration but fix all of its imperfections, and no grind plates flat bottom like an orion

19.5 or 20.5 long, rounded sides like an AOS V2, 82.5 hta, 4.5 wide, simple headtube cutout, no reventon or imperial bull----- integrated

82.5 HTA, 4.5 wide, 20 long, boxed sides like a reventon or district, keep the graphics simple, peg compatable, maybe a slight fix fender(similar to Madis) I believe that most people would like one as it helps are with fakies and manuals.

will it still be a cnced deck? big thing is CONCAVE. i love everythingelse about vertx decks except the weight and the concave, and it sounds like your taking careof the weight. and a simple, light headtube plox.

Making the deck wider at the bottom than at the top is ridiculous. Why not just make the whole thing wider? It is technically just taking an already wide deck, and making the footspace smaller.
Also, welding through the bottom is not bad. That's irrelevant. There are a lot more aspects of a deck that determine strength other than a hole in the bottom.

I wasn't asking you guys to try and structurally design a deck. We can take care of that.
The new extruded VertX deck will not be released until it has a higher strength to weight ratio than any deck on the market. There is going to be a great amount of time and brainpower put into this deck.

Like I said, I don't need people to try and design the deck. I just wanted to know what sort of ergonomic aspects to incorporate into the design.

no having a wider bottom makes it grind nicer with the feel of a less wide deck, which some people prefer and after a certain amount of width it feels weird. and how is a hole in the bottom going to be good, i know its not the be and end all but is a factor(especially with a wide ht as the hole would be huge like a frid which surpise broke at the huge ht hole), a hole in the bottom creates a first place to crack. i know i dont need to design the deck but i put in my thought

also wider bottom is a preference i think i would like, so maybe between 4.5 or 4 wide but then the 5 inch grinding surface.

also why are you extruding a deck not cnc with like bolt in plates or something, cost or effective design? or the fact that most people shy away form cnc decks?

what is wrong with TDI anyway?

And that's enough with the "wider bottom" stuff. It's not happening haha.

I appreciate your input, but the purpose of the thread is just for ergonomic aspects. We will take care of the design.
