What Do You Like To See In An (Extruded) Deck?

And that's enough with the "wider bottom" stuff. It's not happening haha.

I appreciate your input, but the purpose of the thread is just for ergonomic aspects. We will take care of the design.

yea its not essential adn I didnt really expect but it dosent really matter, why is it not cnc though as is it less efficient design or what?

a deck with a bottom wider than the top would be pretty pointless.

did you not read what i said i explained what the point was.......

anyway grind plates seem legit and what is wrong with TDI anyway?

there is no point in making the deck wider on bottom. that would be retarded. you might as well just make the whole deck wider.
and i think vertx is just trying to offer more options to people. some people like cnc'd decks, while others like extruded decks. its just personal preference.

Vertex is making a new extruded deck, and they want to see what dimensions and other attributes people want. I think. I hope.

Some holes in the deck like the Nitro Extreme. Not balls out like the Sacrifice deck though. Basic headtube is fine for me, I don't really care for cutouts and fancy designs for lightness. Headtube degree angle 83. Boxed sides and flat bottom of course. Slight concave and of course really long and wide (5x21.5+ would be awesome!)

round sides like the Aosv2
A footjam friendly headtube would be sweet.
Integrated back spacers
a flexy/flexy holes thats compatible with other flexies and doesn't suck.
82/82.5 degree headtube
integrated headtube/standard, doesnt matter to meeeee
peg friendly

its not retarded, maybe someone would like a 4.5 wide deck with the grinding surface of a 5 inch deck, put it this way, if you want a 5 wide deck, have a 5.5 or 6 inch wide deck at the bottom, there will be a point at which you do not want a wider deck as it doesnt feel as good but the wider grinding surface.

i dont understand what is wrong about the right width for a persons preference with that extra grinding surface?

I'm sorry if I'm being a dick but if you ask for peoples input you have to listen to all of it, no matter how bullshit you think it is. I know you said that you appreciate the input but you can't just really throw it back into peoples face.

I personally agree with you, the 'wider at the bottom' idea is terrible and shouldn't be given the light of day but if he likes it and wants to bring it up then he's within his rights to do so.

I was actually going to say something but I forgot :/

-I listened to it
-It was bullshit
-It was shut down before anybody could even talk about it

Am I supposed to tell him that I will look into it? Because I would be lying. Anything like that will never, EVER happen on a scooter haha.

You did the exact same thing I did when you said it is "terrible and shouldn't be given the light of day".

But I didn't create the topic intending to receive input of every kind from any person.

I'm not going to argue, you're right. It's bullshit. Maybe I was wrong. Fuck if it's bullshit tell that motherfucker that it's bullshit.

I'm such a silly person.

Square dropouts, flat sides, flat amd wide bottom, integrated spacers, nut catcher (like on sacrafice decks) a heatube hole, deck plate holes, mid weight range, 4.6 wide. Footjam friendly, threasold style dropouts (like 5mm wider than the wheel) 2 piece, heap ov concave, forged joints and anodised. Also make them have multiple length choices. It would be an amazing deck..... :)

Most of the team has seen a concept deck and it has gotten wonderful feedback. It's under three pounds as is, and I'm working on lightening it up.

Get rid of the District-esque grind rails on the bottom. Make it completely flat, like a Threshold, and make the bottom thicker than the top, like as thick as you have the grind rails, especially at the corners for people who lean into grinds. Imagine a solid triangle down the corners inside the deck.
