oh my god. when the fuck is it gonna end. who the fuck cares where your money goes to? its about getting good parts, and if mgp made good parts (which they dont) then i would totally buy their products. you think any skate companies are in it to make people happy? no. its all about fucking money either way. and if companies like tilt and addict make better parts, then thats what im going to buy. who the fuck cares about anything else about the company? back stories, their riders, their owners, it doesnt matter if they make good parts. and from what i can see the AO deck looks pretty innovative and good.

and another thing, how the FUCK can anyone on this site talk shit on rollerblading? we ride scooters for christs sake. grow up and have some respect.

okay, did nobody read this? this is gold, well put ben. :)

I read it, and agree with everything but "mgp doesnt make good parts" because their 2012 line is good.

EXACTLY! this is what i was saying in the ''views on mgp'' thread, people dick ride ride companies just cuase they're rider owned, they dont even care about strength/durability all they care about is fitting in with everyone, and they automatically shun companies that are made by businesses

1. Zig Short is so wack eg. scoot scoot bang bang (while holding with scooter as a gun), WTF is he meant to be doing?

2. Elyts shoes are so fat and moonbooty. If they had a nice slim design I may like them

3. AO decks look like a toy, but the grind plate idea is cool though.

4. Rollerbladers invested into scootering just for the money and they should go back to their own sport.

Alfie, hop off the bandwagon pal.

Scooters were originally a "toy" So why would it matter if it looked like one or not. Scooters still get referred to as toys.

Also proceeed to tell me how they are in it for the money? The spend more money on the team than most companies put together.

Plus if those companies werent in it for the money Aaron how are they still surviving?

This is the stupidest argument i've seen. If we want this sport to be respected, we should have parts that doesn't look like shitty toys. I don't mean that ao is a shitty toy, but it matters how the parts look. Also, skateboards, bikes and rollerblades are "toys" just as much as scooters. Scooters were originally a tool made for transportation, just as a bike.

Who are you and why are you a moderator on the biggest scooter forum? Your views are whack as fuck.

Pure determination and a want to see the sport grow.
There are companies that haven't even broken even on their original investment 2+ years after making an entrance to the industry, and they don't change their marketing. They're still core brands that appeal to the demographic that they want to.

I like Ben but that post was whack. AMD people need to realize there's a diffrence between ONLY in it Goethe money and rider owned in it for the money but want to help the rider.

Jeez... Why do people here interpret Aaron's words as 'hating' on rollerblading? Are you living in black-and-white colored world? The fact that he doesn't want to support another sport financially doesn't make him a hater; analogically the fact that, for example, I don't find men sexually attractive doesn't make me a raging homophobe.
Also what's with that 'I don't care where my money go' attitude? It's absolutely wrong, I don't even want to bother explaining.

^ Hell yeah, Timur. There are very few people who know what they are talking about in here, but I'm glad there are at least some.

People who know the story behind that whole group of companies (Elyts, AO, Raptor, 841, etc) hate them because they are quite obviously in the sport for nothing but the money.
The people who own the companies have nothing to do with scooters. In fact, they actually have a LOT to do with another sport, and they're just in scooters because they're blowing up and they can make a quick buck.
Supporting elyts is pretty much supporting rollerblading, and i'm not down for it.

i want to see some solid proof that all they care about is money, because all i've seen so far is wild speculation.

just because the parent company also makes rollerblade stuff is not a legitimate enough reason to assume they are a greedy co. like Mitch said they obviously take great care of their riders so how do we know they aren't trying their best?

ive never worn the shoes or tried any of their products so i still have an open mind
