Honestly, I hate the personalities that represent the brand and the products they represent. Scooter-specific shoes are a stupid idea and so are silly "innovations" like the AO grind plate, and though it markets well to the younger generation of riders, will ultimately effect the sport negatively as far as becoming a respectable extreme sport.
Companies like Phoenix and Lucky are becoming solid cornerstones for the sport and companies like Elyts detract from that greatly. If it means keeping the integrity of our sport more or less intact, I'm very happy wearing skateboarding brand shoes and waxing ledges instead of going out and buying a pair of padded elyts and an AO plastic grind plate.
