I cracked the core of an old-A wheel last week and snapped the forktube on a pro model fork today. Guess it's time for an upgrade.

Holy crap dude you live in Harrisburg? Is that near Johnsonburg? (They have THE shittiest skatepark ever there.) And I probably won't post in this thread for a while. All my parts are indestructible, especially vertx wheels.

rode woodward all weekend without breaking a single part,but when i got home i double whipped flat and my 2 back bearings exploded and all the balls went all over my driveway hahahaha

i wonder if it would have made a difference if they used a starnut instead of threading the inside of the fork. maybe even an aluminum washer welded inside and a nylock bolt to compress it from the bottom of the washer. we should be staying away from threads and slits all together, not finding more ways to use them.
