Fork-tube part above headset: how long is yours?

On a usual scs it is true, on mine it does, I know what I am talking about, that is simple matter to understand, please don't argue my reasonability. I'll post a picture of it when it's made, you'll see why the length matters.

Fork-tube part above headset: how long is yours?

yes, that's pretty obvious. In my case, though, the risk is a fork-tube piece being too short, as I wrote above it needs to be at least 31mm long.

Fork-tube part above headset: how long is yours?

i think mine is going to be good, the limitation on a fork-tube length is caused by one design feature, that is radical and optional, there is an option without it, so it's not a problem to make another one. and if it happens to be not so good, i'll spend some resources on perfecting it too, but...

Fork-tube part above headset: how long is yours?

No, i like to make my own parts.

Fork-tube part above headset: how long is yours?

yeah, i know how to deal with a longer fork-tube, but here the thing is that it needs to be at least 31mm (1 1/4") to work, so i wonder if my scs will work, say, with a tilt fork on different decks.

Fork-tube part above headset: how long is yours?

yes and i need statistics because i'm making a fancy scs, so i'd like to know if it'll work with different set-ups

what SCS are you running? the fork, the deck?

Fork-tube part above headset: how long is yours?

What is the precise length of the part of a fork-tube that sticks out from a headset on your scooter? Also, it'll be cool if you write a deck+fork set up. I'd like to have several results for statistics. The input is appreciated.

Trilogy Scooters: what happened to them?

A while ago there was this starting company, they hyped up people with their 3D models, but it seems they ended up producing just a few real decks. Does anybody know anything?

Eye Candy. (do not post your own scooter!)

reventon is a silly deck (because of ovepricing and overhyping) with little tech-thougth in it. obvious design just with good materials

    River Wheels are here!

Well I do like having some color on a scooter. If one doesn't have taste, and every time one tries to use anything else other than black and silver it ends up being a 'fucking rainbow', than sure, it's easier to go black. My scooty is a beauty:

    Addict/Ethic Question

I just don't like spacers when I can make it work without them, you can barely mess up a fork by such simple actions, even I can do it with my tentacles ; )

    Addict/Ethic Question

idk i would try to not use a spacer, cutting 5mm of threads won't even do harm, as there will remain enouph to use a tilt topcap, and as it is aluminium it'll be easy to clean the rabbish left on the threads after cutting for a cap to start screwing

    Addict/Ethic Question

why not cut the forktube? and in case it spoils a screw-in sturnut use a usual one instead?

    Ethic artefact or v2i

v2i. An Atrefact has a big flaw in the spot where the neck in welded to the headtube, the ridge is narrow, thus the impact is concentrated there, and a deck cracks. A few have been broken so already although it really does feel very well, but so does a v2i

    Deck Help!

My friend's one cracked on the weld between the neck and the headtube, and he's had it for a month. The place where they join is a pretty thin edge, so the impact is not well distributed, the similar situation as it was with Blunt Ace of Spades v1, if the triangle was upward they wouln't break...

What is the most annoying thing about your scooter?

how my vertx wheels are chalk-like and flatspot quite easily (they draw lines) when a spin out of a front wheel is landed a bit sketchy, so i have to freak out not to slide the wheels are great though
