I would use a drill press and a hole saw bit or whatever they are called. Or I would use a good drill and make sure the bit doesn't "walk" somehow

It's mig with normal 030 wire. Not sure what kind but it's not flux and it's for steel. We have a full tank of argon gas to boot, but the darn thing doesn't work :( plugged it in and it won't feed or arc. I think the PCB is dead so we need to bring it in for repair.
