inverted starnut goes in your bars scs goes in your fork if you have two bars just get another starnut from a bike shop and install starnuts past the slit in your bars

if you dont have a pinch ring it could be the problem

it makes the core stronger so it doesn't crack cause all the glue absorbs the pressure it doesn't last forever but it makes stock wheels last a couple months longer than usual

you can use threaded forks its fine. and you dont have to get compression unless you have threadless bars and threadless forks
