    torn as in ripped? I doubt you could ride with a completely torn ACL. I snapped mine in half along with my meniscus in Dec 07, had a replacement surgery and just really got back into scooters now. I couldn't squat all the way down until recently.

    Smashed face!!!

    Aired couple feet out of a 8ft quarter, somehow jumped too far out and went straight down onto my face. Didn't hurt at all but I was bleeding heavy so I drove to the hospital and got some stiches :) Heres the blood spot about 20 minutes after it happened, taken by a friend.

    Get a welder... An ok TIG welder is just short of a thousand dollars usd. I think it would be cheaper to let a muffler shop or welding shop do it.
