I just got given a olympus OM-1 with a 50 f/1.8 and a tokina 70-210 f/4-5.6 with some flashes and all that from the bloke I work for. I hope to be shooting some film. I know of a place that still sells film and develops it but the hardest part with be finding a battery for this thing.

I'm sure Otto and Donald will be happy :)

Last night, there was a really big storm. Lightning was flashing non-stop in the clouds just south of us. I quickly grabbed my tripod and 60d and set up on the wharf. Most of the lightning bolts you couldn't see, so I had to take quite a lot of shots hoping a lightning bolt would appear.

In all the rush I forgot to grab a light source of some kind. So because of that, I had to go off what I had on the back of my camera and if the horizon wasn't straight, I adjusted the legs to what I thought was straight. I only had to straighten in lightroom to .2 of a degree.

I also needed a light source to see on my lens how far it was focused, luckily for me magic lantern has this integrated into live view.

I shot these at a 30 second exposure at f/8 and ISO 400.
