The Proto SCS has a US patent as well, so there is nothing Andrew can do about people copying his parts exactly from another country.

i like when companies do this cause say you like how crows look ,but dont want that much back sweep get pry's or is you like how a tsi looks and you think the epic deck looks like it (i personally dont see a resemblance) you could get the epic deck cause it comes in colors

The problem with getting parts such as bars, forks, pegs etc patented is that there isnt much design freedom. Although there can be subtle differences, a patent office most likely wont give a patent on a different style. Usually there needs to be something different, revolutionary or have different technology used in or making the product. Its alot like bike bars.

And to the people who say Lucky copied Rad, lookie here. You don't hear bikers saying "oh they copied the style of _____'s 2 piece bars" because almost all 2 piece bike bars have the same basic construction, just different geometry.

They don't really give credit to the original bar that was made that way.
Idk about you guys, but when I refer to bars that look like crows, I call them "crow style bars". Everyone knows who the original was, and they original still gets the most business. Hell i'm thinking about getting some crows after a new fork and wheels.

you cant tell me that this is original. its a tsi without a deck plate and with a spring break. i mean you guys didnt even try to make the headtube any different at all.

eeeh kinda, i have a Epic deck and the bottom of the deck and the sides have these wierd circles on them that are creative in some way, and almost all decks are coping each other who cares that means theres a new standard in our sport
