so to finalize what color loctite should i get and where should i apply it?

im not really sure google it becouse iv never had you use it before so i dont wanna tell you to get the wrong one

finally, locktite is a must have for any compression system if you want it to stay tight for awhile.

NO. Do NOT use loctite on a compression bolt. Ever. That's how you break a starnut. Once you tighten your clamp and everything there should be no reason your compression would come loose.

if you do this, be sure the starnuts are hammered in at the same time with the screw secured around both of them. if you don't, then they may be out of alignment and that could lead to some nasty cross threading.

as for loctite, generally if your bars are coming loose you have a problem somewhere else

what does having a slit with scs do to your bars?

It stops the SCS from clamping on to your bars properly, making them slide out of line and possibly fall off.

as far as i know they are, vertx in general is legit, but i just ordered their hic and clamp like 2 days ago

Hey, soon i'm getting my first scs and i'm just wondering how do you tighten the bolts?
A little bit on each one then repeat till fully tightened?
Or tighten one fully then the next etc?
