From Addict

Most of us ride Pegs, so we had the chance to see what's up about the back axel. because pegs were acting like an external spacer.. so sorry about that.

First time we saw that crack was during that California trip last summ,er it was on Matt's deck and it happened after 3 month and half of shredding. He did wallenberg after and no problem.

Then yeah travis is right, and people who complain about the banana effect.. there's tons of reason. As billy said before. But also when you're used to ride a 81 angle with a strong deck (phoenix, mad, district, proto..) and switch to an Addict in 83 which is pree soft then yeah.. you got to get used to it.
soo when you say addict you mean a weak deck?

I can not believe what I just read. I would be the most pissed off motherfucker if I had bought one of these and found out that it was falsely advertised as heat treated.

For some reason i knew i shouldn't have bought one haha, i cracked the dropout and the hole in the dropout was actually coming out of the deck.
But i got a friend who cut my deck so eh.

Excuse me, who the fuck has proof of this "Skipping heat treatment process" rumor?

This is the first I have heard of it.

Email your local dealer or where you got the deck from with pics and details about the crack most will give you a replacement deck. You may need to send the deck back to them but it depends which dealer etc.. That's what I did and got a replacement.

so I could've gotten an aos v2 but instead they lied and scammed me and lots of other people with skipping this heattreating step? This is really BS. if we send in all our decks cracked, snapped,or new. they should still refund us.

fact: the District and Addict decks are not Heat treated. Not Talking shit its just a fact. I had them tested at a metalurgical facility.

Most kids reading all this are too young too understand how unlegit that makes this company look. Who knows what other corners they cut to release these toys(after 3 years of waiting/hype). I wont buy shit from china. kthx

I'm still waiting for definite proof. Right now it's Thom Cat's word about a mysterious "test" versus addicts marketing. We'll see what happens.
