I stand behind addict decks to the fullest, any broken addict is from either shitty, sketchy riding, or from user default (i.e the back axle crack deal) so anyone thats complaining about a broken addict deck, realise that its still the v1, and stop complaining..
Oh and learn how to ride cleaner.. any part will break with sketchy riding..

and the v1 release took 3 years haha. that was three years of "testing". apparently testing is another word for getting high out your mind near some sheet metal. i dont care if its "sketchy riding". parts have advanced to the point where they should be able to withstand that, and addict just cant do that. that is not the riders fault in the slightest.

if you want something that will last longer or put up with your riding, then buy something that will. i am fully satisfied with my addict products and they do exactly what they are designed to do and much more.
addict have been saying form day 1 that these are meant for the people who know what's up with landing the right way without landing full force to the ground (to be blunt, properly).
hard to explain but you can see the difference when you watch a clean rider against someone who throws tricks and lands heavy, you notice when someone lands heavy that they lose alot of speed as they land very stiff which offers a bad energy transfer to land whatever you are doing.
all that force goes towards the weakest point of the scooter unless you know how to compensate or counteract by using your bodyweight or mainly, knees.

Billie is right, and incase you didnt know, as addict was being made, they helped out alot with the production and design of district parts, and they were riding district completes for the longest time, so im led to believe that addict decks, and v2i's are made from the same material, and in the same way, the only difference is that districts are heat treated, and have more metal to them. I know for a fact that when addict decks were put on the market, peasley got two of his signature decks, one to ride and one as a spare, this was almost a year ago, and he JUST put the second deck on his scooter recently.. so it really is about how you land, just like billie said, and the decks will last a while considering theyre pretty cheap compared to all the other decks like phoenix, tsi etc.

Dont even put addict in the same category as phoenix or TSI.
1. they come together dialed with no adjustments needed, they actually test and make sure they got the right spacers and dont use cheap china grade metals for axles.
2. they dont lie about their machining process's to make the product look better then it actually is. (most kids on here are young and don't give a fuck about how its made they just care how they look and how light it is)
3. they aren't made in sweat shops in china. The people making TSI and Phoenix are actual metal workers (not a factory) who want to put out a quality products(Look at phoenix they hosted a biggest drop contest with their parts).
Im sure all the team riders had heat treated decks from the first batch made or w/e but whatever the consumers got(the people who pay the bills at the end of the day) got janky massproduced piles of aluminum. District is such a shady company, HEY LETS RELEASE SIG DECKS AND NOT EVEN PAY THE GUY WITH HIS NAME ON IT. You guys are fools these china based company's are aimed right at your parents wallets.

I kind of agree with some of what you say in a not-so-dickish way, but this line is completely false. Tom Mattingly just got on District and he was telling me about how it says directly in his contract that if he ever got a sig deck, he would recieve commission on every one sold.

In australia, people pay $270 for a standard phoenix, $300 for an integrated and $350 for a reventon
The Addict guys get their living costs paid for them, supposedly. However the purpose of District signature parts is purely for rider exposure.

no, no no no, district parts are not just for exposure, from what i understand fraint was suppost to make hella bank with his sig deck, district fucked him out of that money. And i know Rory is making bank off his sig parts
