How to dye a wheel-Step by Step(pics included)

hey thanks for putting it in the scooter modding thread, but dont you think that it would be spotted easier if it was its own sticky? i guarentee some one else will ask to to do it haha

A couple things you should know about dying wheels:

Clean the wheel as much as you can before AND after the process.

The water should be boiled before you put the dye in.
Let the water simmer before the wheels are put in.

Hot glue will allow you to make designs.

If you take the logo off AFTER you dye, the original color will be there (sometimes) So, take the logo off before you do it.

If you are trying for a certain color, and not black, use a white wheel. Make sure you check on it very frequently. And NOT to leave it in for 3 or 4 hours. Say you wanted a pink wheel, you use red rit dye. if you leave it in for to long, it will turn red.

I couldn't tell you the exact time. But it'll probably be under 10 minutes. You just need to keep looking at em.
