Thanks for who responded. Def not looking to throw money at another car. Just want something under 6k that has some quickness to it, I got a mortgage to pay.

and you cant go wrong with a civic or civic hatch.

Kenny, honestly honda's prolly best bet, mr2's arent bad either.instead of looking for something quick off the back, you can build a turbo civic with a built motor and all for EASY under 6k, on a fully built motor turbo running about 10-12psi you can bet yourself a good 325-350hp if not more. but for daily driver you dont wana run but 7-8psi to be on the safe side.

Tanner, go junk yard and look for a stock turbo'd eclipse.. rebuild it (its very cheap) then buy the turbo manifold, decent BOV if you want, but buy some nice inter-cooler piping and inter-cooler. easy build under $600. turbo at junk yards only like 50 bucks.

i would but now that i think about it i probably wont have enough for the 2.7l just problably the same 2.0l just maybe not fucked up.haha but i dont think it will take a turbo honestly itll probably throw a rod. and i dont want that. lol and its gonna be a while till i get the new engine or a crank kit

i doubt itd handle 10psi for a few hours lol, people run 10-12 on a built engine. save the money!
