7) How long you have been a member on SR: January 2009 ( although I still viewed the forums before that)
8) How did you hear about SR: a friend of mine told me about it

9) Why you think you are qualified to be one of the new moderators:
To start of scooter resource is honestly one of the most influential things in my life. I honestly think I’ve gone on every day since I joined. It’s been a place I’ve used for information, to talk to friends, or even ask for help about other problems. I’ve looked up to allot of people on scooter resource, I think ill honestly never forget something Joe riley said when I was asking for some help when I was having some trouble with my girlfriend, he said "girls are a dime a dozen, so don’t sweat about it". I know it sounds like I’m getting of topic, but what I’m trying to say is scooter resource is more than just a place I go to look at peoples scooters. Being a moderator is something I’ve always dreamed of, me and my used to get together at the skate park and always talk about how cool the mods are, and starting from some of the first times I went on hear its always been a goal of mine, and I feel as if I could help the community in general just with my overall knowledge of the site. Also I’ve been around here awhile, I still remember the original scooter resource, and all the old members, even when you got “I post more than I ride” under your name if you had enough posts. Thanks for reading this, any little consideration means the world to me.

10) What is something unique you can offer that no one else can: I can go the website every day, no matter what, I can actively search forums for violators of forum rules, I believe I could help reduce some of the tension in some of the arguments going on in the threads, I won’t be biased to anyone, and I think overall I can help clean up the forums

11) Your biggest complaint about SR currently: there seems to be allot of arguing, it gets kind off annoying, I think I could help stop this.

12) What you like most about SR currently: I love that it’s a place that people from all over the world can get together and talk about their passion. it really is something special

13) Things you think need to be changed on SR:I would like to revive "potw" and "cotw', those were a great addition to the site.

14) Your plan for changing these things: i would like to get a new email account for people to submit their pictures and clips for the contest, then I would post the best ones and take a community vote and post the winners on the home page.

15) Anything else you would like to add that you feel might qualify you more for this position than someone else: i can honestly say I will put 110% of my heart in to this, it would honestly rank in one of the best things that ever has happened to me. it would mean the absolute world to me. And I just want to say thanks again for reading this, I know you probably have a ton of these.
sincerely,
Elijah

7) How long you have been a member on SR: early January 2010
8) How did you hear about SR: Matt reeves was talking about it one day in early may 2009 lurked the forums then made the acc.
9) Why you think you are qualified to be one of the new moderators: Never been in a fight not post whore and I have a lot of respect and patience.
10) What is something unique you can offer that no one else can: I am a younger mod and will be on here a bit longer than most. I am also a beginner in the community so I am still learning from many of the OGs on this site. I am also willing to accept punishment.
11) Your biggest complaint about SR currently: The people that start the fights are always the ones saying we should not be fighting and become one big to family to grow.
12) What you like most about SR currently: How much it has helped me in my scooter career*? I guess lol
13) Things you think need to be changed on SR: Stop fighting and help many of the new people on the site figure out what to do and what not to do.
14) Your plan for changing these things: Make a little section for New people where only mods and people who have just joined within 1 month can only enter so they can learn how to properly use the site without being harassed when they fail to use it correctly.
15) Anything else you would like to add that you feel might qualify you more for this position than someone else: I am just learning and I think this experience would help me.
Thank you, Harrison

7) How long you have been a member on SR: Since June of 2009
8) How did you hear about SR: I was surfing the internet looking for some scooter sites, Scooter Resource showed up on the results from my search engine and I've been hooked since.
9) Why you think you are qualified to be one of the new moderators: I follow the forum rules, use the forum actively, and I don't try to get my post count high just to make myself feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
10) What is something unique you can offer that no one else can: Sarcastic humor, actually many people can offer that, but not in the same way I can.
11) Your biggest complaint about SR currently: Double posters, large signatures.
12) What you like most about SR currently: The Ride Share subforums, my favorite part of the site.
13) Things you think need to be changed on SR: As much as I like the Ride Share subforums, I still have a problem with it. People who live in Cali, New York, "802 reppin", keep posting in the "AZ" section. For example: An Arizona rider will post a thread about some parts they want to sell, at least three people that DON"T live in Arizona will post in there wanting to buy it. When obviously the owner wants to sell locally.
14) Your plan for changing these things: Give people warnings for the second time they post in the wrong regional section, and after that start handing out temporary bans. Possibly adding a feature so that you must have "AZ" in your location information to even post in that forum.
15) Anything else you would like to add that you feel might qualify you more for this position than someone else: I don't think I have anything to add that would make me more qualified for this position. But if possible I would settle for being an "AZ" section moderator/peace keeper. Like someone who's moderator powers/capabilities were limited to that section if that makes sense.

Thanks!

PS: Brock, if you're reading this, please tell me you'll make a mini video 2?

10) What is something unique you can offer that no one else can: I feel like every one has something unique to offer I just personally don't know what I can....

11) Your biggest complaint about SR currently: just repetitive posting from new kids

12) What you like most about SR currently: all the knowledge I gained from it

13) Things you think need to be changed on SR: I think a chat box or more PM space, or a more organized system for newbies to search

14) Your plan for changing these things: making a list for the new kids

15) Anything else you would like to add that you feel might qualify you more for this position than someone else: I am not bias I won't ride certain companys dick I don't judge people unless they are being a dick

not ryan weaver. he has no idea about anything on this site and is
always bad on here. i know him personally and he couldnt handle it.

Christian Ewing is a possible candidate. (he lives like 2 houses from me ill be able to make sure he does good and wont be a douche.)
Tyler Billman is a good guy right? seems to me ive seen him do lots of good things on here but correct me if im wrong.

i thoguht zane was a douche? but maybe it was a diff zane?
and since when is Brian A a PK? lol no disrespect just never knew lmao.

I was talking to Rob and Murphy about it for a lil while, and Buff okay-ed it I guess haha. I haven't been one long so that's prolly why you didn't notice dood. It's all good I'd never take it as disrespect, I'm still trying to figure aaalllllll of this out.

Tyler Billman does seem like he would be a pretty good guy for the spot. I can't remember anything negative about him, and I've noticed a good number of his posts and stuff.

By the way, all my judgements I'm making are pretty much with the my mindset still just as a normal member. I haven't been a mod long enough to really know exactly what it takes yet but mod or no mod, as of right now I'd still choose that Matt dude I said before, Zane, or Tyler Billman.
And yeah I noticed a lotttt of like, 13-14 year olds. Not bad, age doesn't necessarily mean more/less mature, but the longer they've been around could change things I'm sure.
I'll keep checking backkkk and looking at more.

He hasn't sent in an application yet, but Scott Trainer (trainer). He'll send one in soon. I know him really well personally, and he's really mature and down to earth. Most of his posts on here are really smart and helpful, too. He doesn't post much, he mostly lurks. And he lurks often so he'd be helpful a lot.

Also, Donald for sure.

I think i am qualified to be a new moderator because I understand differences in people, everyone has there own style and what they like on there feet , what they like under there feet, etc. I have innovated this sport in my town last year at this time there was 4 riders in the area now we have a total of 14 or 15 all because i taught them how to put a scooter together and the essential tricks whips, hops, half cabs etc. I also have a brother that suffers with sever mental problems its called type 3 autism , It taught me to be a good person to others but defend what is right.
My biggest complaint is how threads are getting locked because of the fighting i want to stop it at the source.
The innovation and beauty of the sport is in those pages dating back years ago!
More Advertising would help the SR quit much , if more people new about it... like making stickers or t shirts that advertise the forum.
To unite the scooter world is how i will change these things it all starts with one person telling another then it turns into a large epidemic.
I am an artist and try to find beauty in everyones opinion.
I wanted to be an SR admin for awhile it seems fun!=

7) How long you have been a member on SR: March 2009

8) How did you hear about SR: YouTube?

9) Why you think you are qualified to be one of the new moderators:I believe I am qualified to be a moderator because I believe i am more mature than most people as far as flaming, trolling and clogging up threads with pointless arguments. Yes I know i have probably participated a few times in the past but am well over it.

10) What is something unique you can offer that no one else can:I am completely unbiased as far as posts go. To me sometimes it feels like names allow people to bend the rules and get away with more than others. To me even if you are a "pro" that gives you no right bash others that you feel are inferior due to their skill or time riding. Rule number one is respect all right, well i believe that i do respect all the same until something is done that deserves disrespect.
11) Your biggest complaint about SR currently:Duplicate threads and as stated above lack of respect.

12) What you like most about SR currently:Consistent homepage updates, and the user base seems to be a little more lighthearted than it used to be

13) Things you think need to be changed on SR:More user involvement as far as contests polls and other things

14) Your plan for changing these things:I like to get people involved in things as a group. I feel that if i were a mod I could get people involved in spreading the word about scoots while having a kick ass time.

15) Anything else you would like to add that you feel might qualify you more for this position than someone else:As stated above post count, join date or "pro" status mean nothing to me. If you break the rules, you broke the rules period. Also I have access to a computer and Internet all 7 days of the week, even at work so i can stay on top of things and issues that pop up at all times of the day, whatever day that may be.

Thaks for your time!

8) How did you hear about SR:
My cousin

9) Why you think you are qualified to be one of the new moderators:
I respect peoples opinions, and try to avoid any arguements or stop them from happening in the first place.

10) What is something unique you can offer that no one else can:
I dont discriminate anyone because of what they ride, how long theyve been riding, or how old they are. I try to offer help to anyone who needs its.

11) Your biggest complaint about SR currently:
The drama. People are always starting crap with eachother for absolutely no reason. To me, all this fighting just makes it seem like we're the ones giving our own sport the bad reputation by carrying on like a bunch of cry babies. Everyone should respect eachother as another rider.

12) What you like most about SR currently:
There are still good people on here. Its still a fun site to be on. I always come on here for news, check out new parts, try to help anyone with questions, and entertainment.

13) Things you think need to be changed on SR:
The "tolerance". Im sure youve seen all the stuff thats been started with muse lately. People have been warned to just knock it off, but no one listens. Im not saying we need to go ban crazy, but we need to tighten up on the people like that.

14) Your plan for changing these things:
I would warn people to knock off the childish bickering. I would also try to see things from each persons point of view and see if I could try to help solve the problem without banning anyone. Banning would be a last resort (as it should be) but I would enforce certain rules a bit more.

15) Anything else you would like to add that you feel might qualify you more for this position than someone else:
Ive been on the site for a while, I used to come on even before I had an account. I remember the old days of SR, when there were rarely any arguements and drama. All of these things are basically tearing our sport apart from the inside, and it needs to stop. I wont deal with the drama, but I will also respect every single person on here.

Yeah he has. And once again, I 10000000% recommend Scott Trainer. He's unknown, which isn't good but then again isn't bad. Nobody on the site has a reason to not like him. He never argues. He's really chill, he knows a lot about scooters, and helps the best he can.

If it seems like I'm on his dick or annoying or anything, I'm not trying to be. But I've thought that he should be a mod since waaay before I started modding.

Sooo I'm gonna have to re-download office later today with a legit serial. I'm off to XW right now though for a session, checkk backkk laterrrr. <3
