i had a gf when i was 15, unlike you i respect them and dont fuck every one i see like you do.

I have driven and enjoy doing so, but ive been too busy and have no way to get money to pay for gas/insurance due to my education and team interests.

I have been going to college since i was 16, and am now 19.
mainly working on my welding and graphic arts degrees to help out with my team/friends.
I have 2 welding certs and a few credits away from an aa degree to show for it.

I believe in my team yes, and i trust they have what it takes to do just about anything.
my two majors are just so i can help out my team and friends later on.

and to your comment.. i was too busy grilling hot dogs and hamburgers for everyone twan, im sorry i couldnt go to the twan party in the skatepark.

chill the fuck out and just accept that we do not liek each other, the feeling is mutual.

Im tired of replying to your stuff man seriously.

then i thought taylor was john lol good thing im not that much of a noob anymore
btw i used to be like twan and ride scooters to get sponsors and make a name for myself
but finally i realized im not that good so i just do it for a hobby :D

To say that i'm completely correct on this would be a lie, so i won't, most would remember my thread a while back, with an enclosed sponsor vid, saying that if i don't get sponsored i'm quitting.
Well, i guess i got the next best thing, the enjoyment back, in riding. Now i realise, screw riding for free stuff, i'm now riding because i like to provide a service, which is my photography, i've done it for free this whole time, and will continue to, as long as i'm riding, and probably afterwards.
I didn't see riding to get sponsored to be such a great deal when i thought that way, but now i really don't find it tasteful at all. I find it to be kind of strange, because scooters really aren't going anywhere in a hurry, and to be sponsored for such a little known sport kinda defeats the purpose in my mind, why would you want it?
Yes, you get a little more noticed, but if you can ride well, you'll get noticed without any sponsor.
Yes, you'll get free stuff, but why do you need free stuff to ride? Almost every hobby in the world is expensive, live with it.
Yes, you'll feel apart of a team, but there is a huge team out there, its called the riders at your local park, get out there and ride with them.

This wasn't directed at you Twan, more of a general statement.

Alright, so as far as free stuff and riding goes, I think you should just ride for fun and if someone likes it you deserve to get free stuff. If you just sit around trying to do flashy tricks so that you get noticed I think you're in it for the wrong reasons. Look at my riding, I barely leave the ground and most normal people wouldn't look twice at it while everyone goes crazy over a backflip or flair. I don't do the tricks I do because people like them, it's because I like them. I know plenty of people don't like my riding cause it's boring to them, but I don't care because I ride for myself, not for them. Sure I'll try to add some variety in there, but that's just because I wanna learn new stuff. I really think if you're riding just to try and get free stuff it's on the same level as selling out.

As for this thread.. I lost respect for some, and gained a whole lot for some others.

John keeps a somewhat low profile about his motives for riding, and he said a lot in this thread, and i gained a lot of respect for him..I think both of our sigs, have more meaning behind them than a lot of people realize. With John, i feel like if scootering died...and everyone just stopped, he would still be out there riding and pushing himself..upside down.

Anthony, i dunno..seems like he has it a little bit twisted. Dont get me wrong, hes flat out insane on a scooter. But its just not all about sponsorships, and promoting..and all of that dude. Honestly, i think theres a very small amount of people on SR, that see Scootering as something far more than "a way to impress people" "a way to get my name out there" or "the first thing i was ever good at, so i stuck to it" To some of us, its just more than that.

I still support you in your riding, and whatever you choose to do with it. But i dont support why your doing it. Still got love tho.

Ive given up with the "corporate world" of scootering haha, but its still the loveof my life and i do it daily. in front of bangin girls at college, in front of jocks and preps. Teachers. Everyone. Thats shown me how crazy i am about them <3.

But yeah twan your a funny guy and good rider it seems. Just have fun with it!

i dont think u guys are fully getting my point its not that i ride only to promote that sounds stupid cause its not like im getting paid or making a living i do itas a HOBBY which means for fun and those texs made made were way out of context

but since twan owes me a metalcore and appearntly im johns brother hahaha im gonna post.


i knew twan before john, hes always been super cool to me, offered to pick me up or take me home from parks alot. i rode with him once or twice a month. in like may i gave him a deck cause he said he would give me a metalcore. still havent gotten the metalcore and ridden with him a good 5 times since then, but we talked about it and appearntly im getting it soon.

thats the only respect i lost for him,
but i still think hes a great rider. and respect him as a rider.


im not even gonna say anything about john. cause there really isnt anything to say.



thats just my two cents

i do the same thing for snowboarding alot of my friends hated on me because i would go off and ride with the jersey kids and leave them but id always come back i had 2 photo shoots at creek because of this and i was talking to a board sponser but my friends are assholes and won't give me my footy thats about it i kinda do it for scootering but i already have a sponser and i wouldn't change it for the world
