If you received retro bars with the slit at the bottom, AND you want to buy the SCS, then you will have to just cut 2 inches off the bottom of your bars in order to maintain the height you were at with your bars, and your bars will come usable/compatible with the SCS.

i think the scs comes with a shim for smaller and wider diameter bars i.e. buffs and slayers

Ya that's what I thought too but then why would you have to order the scs in a specific size

Just do it yourself if you can. Plus Powdercoating
can take awhile and maybe Andrew doesnt want to deal with
the hassel??

If you received retro bars with the slit at the bottom, AND you want to buy the SCS, then you will have to just cut 2 inches off the bottom of your bars in order to maintain the height you were at with your bars, and your bars will come usable/compatible with the SCS.
so all i gotta do is cutt 2 in off of it? and what if they dont have that slit?
