/PROTO Scooters

^ dude as long as theres a star nut in the fork it wouldn't matter. The threads might make groves in the clamp though... shouldn't hurt though.

it looks like it, and i also like the notch idea, to keep everything allinded and making the starnut a lot easier to use/understand props, i just wish that proto scooters would ship too Canada, instead of having too deal with over seas shipping, cuz ii think that would def be more customers from Canada if it was shipped from Usa instead of madis

Idk if the notch idea is worth it. Then the forks would only work with the clamp.... In the end it just creates compatability issues. Unless the strip on the forks that goes in the notch is removable somehow? I think its easy enough for people to set their bars straight themselves.

The clamp itself looks pretty dialed and well made. Still too many bolts for me though :)

Incorrect.
There would be a corresponding notch in the bars and fork aswell just like on the clamp, and a separate key that would fit into all these notches, making all 3 parts (bars, deck, clamp) to be in one line. Five extra dollars must be a big deal i guess.

The key would be removable, that's my point. So it's still compatible with everything.

The shipping costs wouldn't be that much higher for Canadians from Europe as it is from USA to Canada. Maybe like $5-10 extra dollars if even that. Depending on the package contents.

Better yet, get your local friends to order at the same time so you could get the shipping costs lower (per item).

I own SR.
What Madis said and no, they will not work with threaded forks. You will ruin a precision machined billet clamp by doing so and it will not stay tight. These things are machined are very tight tolerances so they apply equal pressure to both your bars and your forks simultaneously. Threaded forks are actually a slightly smaller diameter and don't have nearly enough surface area to clamp too so it will never stay tight and it will tear up your clamp.

THREADLESS ONLY.

1-1/4" adapter shims for one pieces (they fit BUFFS stock) and compression top caps.
