Shit man the nostalgia. I remember years ago going to my local when it was hoppin with scooter kids and being so jealous of all the people with the integrated, 4 in. wide phoenix decks.

Phoenix is about to drop a whole new line of stuff, wait for that.

They realized that they kinda fucked up with some of the recent stuff and just got into a whole new warehouse and are bringing most if not all of the manufacturing back to the the u.s.

guys.... phoenix grit crisp and envy (lucky?), are alllllllllll the same distribution, so all the dudes that leave any of those companys... can only go so far.

Seems like Envy/Grit just buy their riders from other companies, I don't look into it too much if a decent rider goes to one of these companies because I know it's only for that paycheck.
I think Phoenix just fucked up with the Session decks and Reventon V2s, at the time that they were released the Reventon was the best deck around, then TSI made the Thresh and everyone switched to those. The Sessions were a flop and the Reventon V2 was the same shit as before. Phoenix just seem like they were clinging to their past fame and weren't really moving forward with their designs, I reckon the Ion deck will change that though. I just wish Phoenix would listen to what people want and make their front dropouts closed lol.

Stop thinking this. Everyone.

Envy is one of the best mass-producing brands we have. They pay their riders for signature parts, send them to unique places around the world and maintain great relationships with their team. They're constantly innovating and moving forwards with their parts / completes.
So not only are they giving back to the sport at the professional level, they're also bringing kids into the sport and providing quality scooters for them to start on.

i hate all the shit that gets thrown at envy/mgp/other brands along those lines. I mean, yeah, they're primarily park companies. Lots of little kids ride their parts. but like friendly said, their providing quality parts for kids to start out on. i mean, when you started riding, were you on a TSI deck?

Phoenix still produces great quality parts, i really dont understand why some riders would move to grit or crisp from envy or phoenix
