When i lived way up north 2 years ago there was a point of the year when we never saw the sun, and the opposite in summer when the sun was up 24 hours/day

nah it not so fun when you want to sleep, and you can feel really like REALLY disoriented. Alot of time you don't know if its 2pm or 2 am
