why doenst it matter if you are on razor? dont you get like free scooters and trips?
I rather make sponsorship worthwhile for 2 people then make it a joke for 20.

and you really do a good job at it man, i cant thank you enough for the stuff you do

Super queer.
Fuck sponsorships. Yea they help with having a nice scooter. Big woop. Ride for fun. Ride for the sport. Ride for Steven Tongson. <3 And moist importnatnly ride for yourself. Being sponsored is cool but its not as cool as riding for what you believe in.

tha word!

I'd like to be sponsored only so i can promote the Scooter culture here in Cro, since it's almost non existed... Like this i always have shitty scooters that brake almost once a week... can't get ntn of some decent quality. Don't get me wrong, i don't ride to get materialized... as Dustin said, i do it for pure love. The proof is my retarded country where ppl mock me for ridin' a skoot... like i care, motherfu**ers.

He's not on Razor anymore and even when he was the past few months he hasn't gotten anything from them. Haven't you noticed how unnecessarily large "Team Razor" is? How many people do they have on there now? 20? Well the fact is their travel budget can't fly 20 people nor supply scooters to that many. There team is too big to supply the means for a dependable sponsorship. You are better off getting a job and buying a Pro Model and metal cores than begging for scraps for months and in Johns case STILL not getting them. It also doesn't help his case that he rides with me and Twan and all our deep SoCal crew so he is naturally guilty by association now which is also complete B.S.

This is the main reason I'm not out trying to sponsor the world with SR. There are a lot of people I really like that can throw down that I would love to help out but it just wouldn't be worth it for them because I don't have the means to do it and I know that. I rather make sponsorship worthwhile for 2 people then make it a joke for 20.

I ask ali and he sends me whatever i want.
gets here within that week.
his deal with me is that if i win a comp, i can go on the next.
which is why i've been tyring so hard lately, this is my 5h pro comp is a row now.
so now i go to SD comp.

Razor will pay for 4 plane tickets on every trip.
So whoever earned to go, go's.
if a rider sends in footage for rvm, they're most likely going.
if they do good they go.

thats how razor works.

Although i understand the whole thing with " 20" riders on the team.

the team is :

Addison McNaughton - Concord, CA

Chris Daigle - Whittier, CA

Coedie Donovan - Australia

Eddie Strzalkowski - Medinah, IL

Jarret Reid - Midway City, CA

Jesse Macaluso - Brick, NJ

John Radtke - Diamond Bar,

Josh Toy - Anaheim, CA

KC Corning - Beaverton, OR

Matt Pate - Charlotte, NC

Ricky Wernicke - Whittier, CA

Scott McKormick - Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Tyler Bonner- Bothell, WA

Dan Barret - levitown , PA

Stevon Wilson- brick,NJ

The team should be :

Addison McNaughton - Concord, CA

Chris Daigle - Whittier, CA

Coedie Donovan - Australia

Jesse Macaluso - Brick, NJ

John Radtke - Diamond Bar,

Josh Toy - Anaheim, CA

Matt Pate - Charlotte, NC

Ricky Wernicke - Whittier, CA

I just think of it as: cool, a sponsorship, maybe some nice perks here and there, but you really shouldnt ride just to get sponsored, ride because it makes you happy.

dunno if it would have been seen.

i havent heard anything from ali since the last day of the XW comp, ive called him, left messages on his phone and myspace asking for a scooter to ride like a week after that, havent heard anything after that.

i could give a crap about it now, i have money and im starting my job soon, plus i dont have to spend $ on dxg anymore, so i can finally ride easier.

Lately Ive been seeing all the little scooter teams, or companies and come to this conclusion. To be on a team or ride for a company riding scooters riding dictates about 40% of the chance you have to get on. The other 60% is if your "cool" with everybody on the team. Lately Ive seen quite a lot of people sucking up to certain companies so they can get sponsored and its pissing me off. I'm not naming any people. But in the end the people who are "cool" with everybody on the team get on the team and they don't deserve it, other better riders do but they weren't "cool". I'm not trying to start anything really I'm just trying to point out go ride a scooter, get footage and get sponsored. Not sit online all day and try desperately to hold conversations with people in high places in the scooter community so you can be "cool" and get sponsored. I mean shouldn't it be about riding not being good at persuading people? You suck ups know who you are. I feel sorry for you.

go shred man.

ya but when you ARE sponsored,
you don't have to worry about breaking scooters anymore,
and you have competitions to look forward to where u ride new places and meet new people.

yeah of course competitions are fun, and getting a scooters helps alot, but it seems to me that once ali finds someone he likes more than you then it all goes away.

I own SR.
Razor plays favorites and without a signed contract you can't do anything when they decide they are over you for whatever reason... fair or not.
