Yea, it's all special order stuff. You won't be able to find any of that stuff in the store except for maybe the 5mm allen wrench... lol.

If they don't ship tonight (which they might not since I recieved about a million orders of wheels and am super bogged down) then they will ship tommorrow or Friday at the latest. Either way you should have them by the end of next week.

could someone make this thread a sticky?

for everyone that forgot they need a threadless headset to use this fork i think i found an answer. you just need to put an extra bottom race from a fork laying around on top of the headset as well as the bottom that way when you go to tighten down your bars it will compress against the bearing like the threaded ones just without threads.

Will this hold true for us Rad users as well?

hmmm, it seems like it could work. I should try. I still would have to get the forks though. And I think my mom got me an FSA Pig anyway, so I'll be good once I got the money for some SR forks

That could probably work but using a bottom race as a top cap won't be nearly as solid as a real threadless headset because those bottom races are a slightly bigger diameter than the steerer tube so it might be a little loose.

so to use this for i pretty much need a threadless head set?
Thread less fork = Thread less headset

That's the whole point.

READ IF YOU WANNA BUY THESE FORKS OR ARE HAVING PROBLEMS

I JUST GOT MY NEW FORKS TODAY!!!!! (and i wanted to write a little review)

these are the best forks ever and i doubt anyone can top them. ive ridden them only a few minutes and got doubles flat easier than i thought since the weight, but theyre not even heavy when you put them on. it actually makes whips feel alot better since the weight is focused more towards the front. no problems with barspins, in fact if you have a slow headset these forks spin better because the momentum of the added weight push your headset faster. i got bar rewinds on them second try and more consistent than with stock forks.

the compression system works great, just make sure when you are putting in the starnut on razor bars to insert it in STRAIGHT! thats probably why most of you are having trouble. when you think its in right just screw in the bolt as far as it will go (without the bars assembled to the rest of the scooter) and look to make sure it is straight, if its not then straighten it. also make certain that BOTH stars of the starnut are inside the taper, this will make sure it does not come loose and also helps it from getting crooked. i found the best tool to push the starnut in was not a socket but a handle taken from the stock bars (without grip or barend on, just use a spare one thats laying around)

and i did try the idea i posted above using the stock headset with the bottom race on top. it works and spins well but after a few minutes of riding there is movement, unnoticeable while youre riding but its there, so i dont suggest trying that idea unless you have to.

even more it comes with an SR sticker :)

and if you do get these forks make sure to clean the soot off really well with solvent or some fine grit sandpaper before painting or clear-coating them.

so far after a day of riding id say these forks are worth the money :-D

PS i wouldve made a tutorial with pictures if my cam wasnt dead sorry :-(
