Sealed bearings have a lot more resistance just by the nature of their design. On a bicycle it is not nearly as noticeable though than on a scooter that is a fraction of the weight.

They are everything Madis said but I'd still recommend unsealed if you like your whips and barspins because they will be noticably faster like Eric said. If you are just into cruising, carving, airing, tweaking sh-t out and big grabs then sealed might be the way to go but most people don't JUST ride flow like that.

u willl need a 1-1/4 threadless bike headset (or just a bike headset)
compression bolt comes with forks
u will need a 1-1/4 star nut if u have one piece bars or buffs
OR
if u have stock bars u need 1-1/8 star nut

V2.2 u could buy threaded but idk if u will be able to buy the new ones threaded u might be able too

I'd think that they weigh more, being as they're stronger they're probably heavier as well.

And Andrew, are they the same ones as on your scooter with the Goped style bars?
hehe lol
the days before bufs {-)
