Yea, jonny. I was already thinking, if the mech could be welded. Foldy and and necktube is steel, but deck is aluminium so aluminium and steel can't be welded together, although i've put some plates to protect it form ripping although it has already ripped of once and i had to chop an inch off the front. But the new-A foldy would rock if it would be welded together and reinforced w/ a couple of extra plates under the foldy and in and/or under the deck.

yeah i know you just put some aircraft aluminum in the hollow part then you bolt the new a foldyto the aluminum that is thick and trust me it will not rip out garunteed atleast the way i did it

anyway back on topic i will have the most solid scooter when this thing gets here

Truth. Except i rode one with a B mech for about 7 months, still isn't broken but the dropouts are pretty grinded down from cement ledges.

Not truth for me, sadly. For me the B mech ripped out really fast. The first one I rode I didn't reinforce the mech around the deck (deck around the mech?) and after maybe a month it ripped out. The 2nd one I had I did reinforce the mech, with steel plate that went back a few inches on the top and even further on the inside, and it still ripped out after a couple months or less. And I put the deck 1/2-1" back from the end of the deck.

rad bars don't make the whole scooter solid in case the rider hasn't got a solid break, solid wheels (110mm 78A are not solid wheels), solid foldy, solid headset, solid bearings etc. Aluminium bends and the whole scooter should be made out of steel to get it totally solid, haha.
