The purpose of this thread is to rant and debate about things that bother you or things you feel strongly about and not to clog up the lovly chatbox. Let keep this 100% cleen and mature, I have faith that all of us can consitering some 12 year olds on here are more grown up then then I would ever thought. I DO NOT WANT THIS TO TURN INTO "I HATE U UR GAY" THREAD. Respect other peoples opinions and people will respect yours. If you can't handle the level of maturity it takes to have a discussion about a serious topic, stey out.


Ill start it off and most of you know what it will be, due to the huge chatbox rants I have.

Emo. The Fasion.

Now, I don't know exactly HOW or WHY people could hate someone that dress's differently, listens to different music, acts differently etc. But it dosent happen as much as other trends. Could someone enlighten me as to why people feel they must say they dont deserve thier lives? Of all things you could say, why such a strong statement? I find it unbeliveable that a person could say something like that about another humen being.

Oh my god, theres actually a difference people. Its true some people get way too caught up in the emo scene and start cutting themselfs for attention. They are not the ones with a nerological problem, the ones with the actual disorder never want anyone to find out. Why would they? Now, I cant see why people need the need to hate a person because of a problem with thier brain and how they deal with certin things.

I do hate the way people cut themselfs for attention. But in turn, that need it if they are THAT desprate for it. I dont hate the person, I feel really bad for them, which might be what they want, but they actully need to see a specialist for such desperation to be notised.

I think the main reason for hating "emo" people where I live is because they are so different. I live in a beach community so it's not all that often you see someone "emo" walk by and when that does happen, all they get is people staring at them. So just the fact that they stand out so much is one reason some people don't seem to care much for emo's

And I know people who cut themselves for attention, but i dont judge them on that. I instead help them, and encourage them to stop because theres tons of things to look forward to in life.

The Catholics veiws on condoms. The vatican releasd a statement NOT long ago CONDEMING condoms, saying you shoud not use them IN ANY CASE because its not christian. I find this abserd. What if a couple are together but one of them has an STI? Then what? Sorry, no sex because you would be sinning. Im am the farhest from religious as I can get but it piss's me off because the roman catholic cherch dose so much good for the world then they screw them selfs over with stupid things like that and saying that god hates gays and if your gay you have no place in the cherch. Example: Page 34 of my religion textbook has a story about a young man confuzed about his sexual prefence and thinks he may be gay and he tells this to his preist and the priest replys to him with "As long as you dont act on these temptations you always have a place in the cherch"

Mmmk, so if you do act on this, screw you, you have no place here... I thought god loved EVERYONE? In that religion he is the father of everyone so why would a gay/lesbian person NOT have a place in cherch WHEN there own damn priests moleste little boys? They even let murderors in cherch to make up for thier sins and being gay isnt even one of the ten commentments. Ugg. Feedback?

I think you meant STD right there but not sure.

And I was raised Catholic but I do not support some of there views on things. I hate how they look down on gays just because of there sexual preference. I happen to think that many gay people are really nice and i dont like how some men look at gays as digusting becuase they automatically think that because hes gay hes going to hit on them.
And my dad would kill me if he read this becasue he is homophobic, and im ashamed that he is.

Naw, STI now. Its been changed to Sexually Transmited Infrection because most of them are cureable now.

Religion, it all comes down to faith. Some of the stuff Catholic's belive in are quite unnessary in my opinion but they do a lot of good for the world. I really have no faith in "god" but I think there has to be a higher power. I dont belive in Heaven and Hell. I dont understand why Hell would exist if god loved everyone no matter what. I think its something that was made up along the way like a lot of it, hell is a way to scare you into keeping your faith and its been working. In the end its all what you want to belive because it wont be proven anytime soon, if at all.

Has anyone notised that children are getting sooo bold? Its almost like as the years go on they get worse. Swearing, throwing rocks at you, calling you everthing in the book... Man, when I was a kid I kept my mouth shut and I was afriad of anyone bigger then me... Actually I still am.... Brian scared the shit out of me at XW, so I hung out with KC on a QP... hehe

I agree with you. I still lean toward "If it can't be proved by religion OR science, im not gonna have a side until it is somehow proven" and thats why Im not religious at all, I like for things to be fact and I find it hard as a person to belive things just by faith.

how did we all just happen to grow from a rock? how did we all come from munkeys? non of those topics are scientificly proove'n. just quesses. well i actualy dont know alot about jeasus and his teachings and his teachings arent proove'n either but its either faith or quess. i chose faith becuase whenever i just guess its way off... !amazed :?

Although Religion nor Science can prove it complely, science is getting closer everyday and religion just defends its self.

The only thing proven is Jesus was a person. A person who did a lot of good for a lot of people and the old testament will show him just as that. BUT the new testiment was written way after then old and makes Jesus out to be super humen, walking on water, turning water into wine, cureing the blind and things like that, so in genral religion has changed in time to make things more extravagent then they might have been.

Exactly, i disagree with alot of what the catholic church believes in, i hate people who say that gays will ruin earth and stuff like that, what is a gay going to do?, most likely they are more clean then you haha, theyre not murderers. I think also the reason some people fight so much about homosexuality being wrong is that they think that that is the way to get into heaven, to discriminate a person just because they like another of the same sex?, to bash them and hold rallys AGAINST them?, that doesent sound like something god would want you to do at all, that seems like the most unchristian thing you can do.

Yeah It all comes down to what you belive. I think like 90% of cathloics dont agree with everything thier religion tells them whish is good, deside your own morals and belifs.

I am strongly against catholic schools or any school where religion is the main focas. They dont even consiter that MABEY not everyone in the class is Catholic, I know a few guys from ontario and a catholic school was there only choise and they are so frusterated that they are trying to brain wash everyone into think the same thing. Catholic school also refrain from teaching a lot about REAL life. Sex more inportently. People up there know nothing about sex, the cons, the pros, the proper way to use a condom or even just exactly what it is. All they say is that it is the way to have kids. Anothing thing Im bother by when it comes to religion is the catholics take on woman. Men are the givers of life and the "better" gender because eve took the apple from the tree of temptation and fucked up the world. Eve was also created from a rip of Adam. In turn making the male the giver of life.

Not how I see it. Woman are the giver of life.

The cherch's veiws on woman go much deeper then that but I wont get into it, its a sad thing to know there are people oyt there who still pretend to live in the 50's where to woman steys home and cooks while the man works all day then the woman is expected to be all cheerful and never mad, depressed any negitve emotion.

I had to go to a catholic school for 6 years...we had to go to church 3 days every week and had to confess our "sins" twice a month..and when i say sins im talking about getting into an arguement with my sister over which piece of chicken was better....and the school cost somewhere around 3k a year. And we had to wear uniforms and belts with tucked in shirts. And if you played tag u got a detention...

ive gone to catholic school all my life. raised in catholic church shit too.
we went to church once a week, in highschool its like once every 2 months, they dont make you believe anything. just know the information to pass to pass religion/theology class. i think my schools like 65-75% catholic or something.
but i still dont agree with most of the catholic churches teachings.

For some reason i was really angry at girlfriend today, dont know why. My knee hurts i think it might be fractured or cracked ill give it a few more days and if its not better ill goto doctors. I havent being scooting because of it, so maybe thats why i havent being so happy. Theres my rant for the day.

Hmmm...should i be a post whore in this thread or not...Having such strong beliefs in a lot of whats being said...I might start throwing it all out there...But for now ill cut it short. Gay people..theres nothing wrong with that at all. I support gay marriages to the fullest. Religion...dont have one. Is there a God...Yes. But i do not put myself under any class. The term EMO is as poorly thrown around these days as the words "I Love You" from grades 6-12....Thats all.
