I'm right there with John, Tyler, and Jordan. The level of friendship and respect on here used to be absoultely incredible. I KNOW I wouldn't have made it as far as I did in the sport if it weren't for this website. Since I joined over 8 years ago, I still find my fingers naturally typing the "scoot..." into my address bar. It is sort of bittersweet to see our sport grow. On one hand, we get all the new companies and parts, more and more support from other sports and their companies, and more and more money invested into it. On the other, we lose the sense of togetherness we had, the awesome friendships, and the sense of support we had for one another. Most of those guys have either grown out of the forum, been consumed with their new found financial success in our sport, or quit entirely. It really is a completely different mindset being an OG vs being someone just coming into the scene (if you can call it that). I still look at someone like Jordan and think of him as a good friend, when little kids look up to him and see one of the top tech street riders out there. The sport is moving almost into its 2nd generation, and that's pretty crazy to think about.
