i used to BMX and when i was at the skatepark i saw this kid do a feeble 180 really fast and a triple tail whip.
A few days later they showed me Coedie's mini vid 4 and i was hooked ever since.

i got into scooter just by learning how to jump up a crub in 7th grade then i loved it ever since
i've been on and off of scootering but i just quit skateboarding cuz photography and scottering is funner

Crubs haha. I also had this book thingy, called the Ulitmate Scooter Guide i think. It showed you how to do tricks, and a few mods, but funnily enough none of those mods were actually useful. And the hardest trick in there is probably a tailwhip.

i wanted one for my birthday. i screwed around with it for a while, then two years ago i started doing tricks. i guess it just came naturally. kinda like farmboy was talking about..."accidentally"

I was always messing round on my scooter making kickers with some ply and bricks and so on. But what inspired me to really carry on and get better was Scooter Resource, no doubt at all. So props to Andrew for that.....
