I learned how to bunny hop and stuff from my friend and then i did 180s and no footers etc and we went to the skatepark. I was a total noob and didnt know alot. Then I showed my friend some videos on SR and we said "WOAH" about 37573 times. But the whole time I was still a little bit more into skating. Then a while after, I got to ride with Nate Grant and I was shocked. seeing stuff like bris and tripple whips in real life was awesome. Now I scooter every chance I get.

<3 thanks a ton dude, means a lot

i always sucked at skateboarding, so about 5 years ago when i got my scooter, i just rode it around. i put it down for about a year. then i came back and started doing little no footers off the curb. put it down for another year or so. THEN i found the old scooter resource, along with SIV 1. hahaha ohhhh god i remember watching that front scooterflip flat and going WTF. then i remember getting a random IM from ricky wernicke and i stared freaking out. he told me to check out the NBS forums, which i did. there i saw ryan whetstones first mini and got hooked. i started doing ALL tricks and thats it. i realeased a mini about 2 or 3 years ago on the TPC forums, and steven hacked it to bits lol. ever since then, i've stared working on cleaning stuff up, and trying to help the so called "n00bs" get more into the sport, as well as more informed

i dont think id still be riding if it wasnt for sr
Hmmmm.... Thats your opinion, but i'd still be riding, no matter if there was or wasn't no scooterresource. You see, when I thought I was the only rider in the world, my dream was to create a new sport, And I feel that wasn't useless... However, I just receive pleasure while riding, doing tricks, mixing with skaters, BMXers and rollerbladers, they rarely call my riding gay cuz they enjoy me doing stuff down the huge stairsets (maybe thats because most of them aren't able to even bunnyhop/ollie that shit haha). Though riding in Russia is hard, I am too deep into scootering to quit . Some years later I will remember todays sweet times and realize, that it has been the best period of my life... :( Sorry, don't want to think about it now..... :(

That is probably true Timur, about in the future we'll think about todays times and realize it was the best time of our lives...but in a few years, i bet it'll be even better...gosh i love this sport. :)

sick.. my friend scott for some reason had to scooters at the park one day and i was skating and i was like "hey can i ride your other scoot" so i did and i cruised the bowl at my local hella fast then boosted out of the bowl to flat and he was like "holy shit your pretty good" so i let him stay the night at my house that night and he told me about SR this is like 4 years back maybe 3 and a half and i saw a bryant walker video he was dub whippin off rails and shit i was like im a scooterer now. then we ended up watchin ren and stempy later that night and there was a dog house in the show and ontop it said BABBOON so we watched and laughed for days and thus the babboons were born.
