Has anybody here dehubbed or chunked a vertx wheel?
I had my V1s that like chunked on the edges once they were like totally worn to the core.

this was my vertx wheel after i think 3 months. my back wheel was pretty much the same, but without the crack. i could peel off that chunk of pu if i felt like it. i bought them last june. i found these wheels really hard and they had a sort of "chalky" feel to them. they flatspotted easily and wore down really fast. after three months they went from 110 to about 98. i contacted vertx about it, and they said they might change the pu.
if i was going to spend more than 100 on a deck, i would most likely just get a threshold.

just because you had a bad experiance with them, doesnt mean everyone else will. stop giving them so much shit.
because i hated them so much. i could have just gotten a bad pair though, since i'm the only one that has found problems with them.
