VX1000 isn't expensive for what you get... you get a 10 year old camera that has a real good picture but you have to baby the thing. If you can't sucker your parents into the VX2*00 i guess its worth it, its gonna be better than the panny but its almost been around as long as you haha

i think i'll just o with like a vx1000 mkII setup. that way i'll also get the fish. cause with the vx2000 i only woulda gotten the cam. which wouldnt be so bad it would teach me to film more longlens

I bought my fisheye today, its a Glanz .45x Series 7, it was $200 AUD so its a good one, but yeah its still at the camera store because they have to get a stepup ring to fit so like, yeah they said its gunna take about a week.

get a vx2000. i wouldnt get a 10 year old camera and a fisheye. i think filming long lens is way more impressive. fisheye shots get annoying.

Sounds like your getting ripped off. Got a picture of it? Seems like its just a Kenko knockoff. $200 doesn't mean shit, the only good fisheye your gonna pay more than $50 USD for is a baby death, the other options under $50 are kenko and snap on raynox. I wouldn't get it if i were you.

it seems to be the vx1k or nothing. my parents wont go over like $900 and i wont be doing very much night filming anyways. and in the event that i do start, i can always get a bescor. asking for an over $1000 camera is going to be a little hard on my parents right now anyways
