i have a jvc camcorder
im probably buying a fish or wide angle lens soon so just want to find out the lens size
im a noob about cameras
i cant tell what my lens size is?
this is what it says on the lens
f=2.2~55mm f1.8 then a circle with a cross through it then it says 27
get a kenko fisheye with a 27mm-(whatever the kenko/wide angle's thread size is)mm step up ring and it will fit your camera

no. the camera lens stays in. you screw the step-up ring onto the camera's threads, then screw the kenko fisheye onto the step-up ring.

and remember to turn steady shot OFF when you are filming with the fisheye! or the black parts on the corner of the screen will move around

Fisheye is boring and WAY overused. Once most of the kids on here get a fisheye it never comes off their camera.
yeah that happened to me for awhile, look at the ASC video the whole thing is almost shot with a fisheye, but i'm filming way more for long lens now. I think it looks better than using my Kenko since my kenko looks like crap. I'm saving up for a baby death once i get my fisheye/flashes for my rebel.
i'd save up for a better video camera. a baby death on a 1 chipper to me is equal to a kenko on a 3 chipper
quality and price wise.

and you should get a peleng fisheye and the canon 50mm f/1.8 II and sell the 18-55 kit lens
best for your buck right there.
BAHAHAHAHA.
you know how bad those are with flashes and stuff.
You get hot spots like crazy.
Tokina ftw.

Mike McGowan's gallery would beg to differ... http://imaraccoon.deviantart.com/gallery/ . He uses a Peleng and pocketwizards... whatever pictures Shelby was looking at the photography must not know how to setup flashes.
