Im not sure. My guess is that it is similar to the DVX's 24P and 24Pa. 24Pa is straight up 24p, which needs to be edited on a 24P timeline in your editing program. Regular 24P is 24 frames in a 60i wrapper (I think!!), which can be edited on a normal timeline and mixed with other footage 60i, 30p ect... footage.
BTW throw a 60i clip on a 24p timeline and slowmo it
