You need a star nut to put in the fork, a bolt for the starnut, a top cap for the HIC, and an oversized clamp. If you get a district clamp, it should only cost 25 dollars or so.

I always thought Bennett was pretty smart. But c'mon... Helmets not being useful? Maybe it's because you are high, but helmets definitely protect. The plastic and foam absorb shock which cause trauma to your head. It won't make you invincible, but reducing the amount of shock your head takes...

You can use that top cap inside your SCS. But you are right, you can leave it off. Loosen your SCS and tighten the bolt inside the SCS until it is snug. Throw some blue lock tite on the bolt first, by the way. Afterward, throw your bars in and tighten the 4 bolts. Keep trying until the headset...

It is pretty hard to pull it out, but it can be done if you pry all of the flanges. Just take a socket, put it on the starnut and give it onoe or two good hits with a hammer. It will go further in the bars and you can cut your bars. You will never even know it is there.
