But you could machine a lip on the bottom of the shim that compresses onto the headset. It would work. Then you wouldn't need to change anything. I think it would be a good choice to have.

i duno bout this idea

to start having threads there will after time wreck a SCS clamp, Phoenix make SCS clamps too!

would Always suggest the slits in a HIC & Bars up, having the HIC shim a thread on system will never allow you to aline the slits up,

Pointless maybe the threads but not complete down futher so people who want to use them as Threaded forks could, but yeah you cant cause you left 15mm like threadless

I could go on with more but im tied!

if the bars are threaded that means they lose half there wall thickness, which equals, snap....., this is why i hate phoenix, if it aint broke, dont fix it

yeah but the threads are not in the high stress points of the forks, and also youd have to snap your bars as well to snap the forks
