I was obviously joking because so many people on here are idiots and think everyone is always 100% serious...
Oh you were joking? Haha funny one, I was 100% rolling on the floor, laughing my ass off. Just kidding, I wasn't. Terrible "joke".

or forks made specifically for integrated headsets. so there is an integrated headset race machined onto the fork, like most current bmx forks. (sorry Scooterskatenj if that is what you meant)

I invented the first set of bar extensions..
What you need:
1-Inward pegs
2- 7/8 starnut 2x
3-top cap bolts 2x

What you do:
install the starnut's into the ends of your crossbar about an inch deep.
Put the smaller end of the inward pegs into your crossbar,
get a 5mm allen and tighten the bolt into the starnut,
and your bars are an 1 1/4in wider on each side.

OR, you could get the right size when you buy them

Sometimes people want to try wider bars,
Or they outgrow them,
My freind did this with his crows and it worked perfectly, except you needa put loctite on the bolt, or they'll vibrate loose.

I got myself banned.
tires.
just like how bikes are exept keep the scooter-style cores but have inner tubes and like 110mm tires, that way you can hit up dirt no problemo, no dehubbing/chunking/flat spots and you can adjust the psi depending on how hard/soft you like your wheels.

i got extensions but mine are:
2 pairs of nitro barends
2 X 3/4 inch of crossbar tubing (thats as big as i dare to go w/o flexing)

1. take the rubber bit off one pair of bars ends and cut it down till you can fit the nut on the end of the bolt to tighten the bars ends (big piece of rubber must be sitting on the barend)
2. put piece of crossbar and install on to big piece of rubber so its also touching the bars end
3. repeat with other barend
4. now your bars are 1.5 inches wider

A Shim threaded on the inside that works are a locknut, So you can use threaded forks without having the ugly locknut/ "channel lock" as some call it.

it would be really slow though

Then you'd have to worry about flats..
And no stores would sell tubes that small, so you'd always have to order tubes, which means you'd ride alot less.

I thought of this last night before i went to bed, which is when i think the best.
But yeah I think it's a BRILLIANT idea, threaded with a shim and oversized bars.

Then we find a way to get ICS to run oversized bars then they'll be the new standard! Which I think is a good idea. :D
